I love trekking and hiking on my weekends so I bought this so that I would always have an emergency back-up for my cell should I ever drain my battery. What I did was charged it using the USB cord for a couple of hours when I first received it and then used it a couple of times over my two day hike where my cell phone had been drained over the weekend. The power bank worked well and I’m guessing it retained it’s charge because of the solar panels. So nothing but good to report.

This is ideal for my regular Treks as a scoutmaster and hiking enthusiast. The couple of times I’ve used it, it has topped up my cell phone pretty quickly and still has had some juice left in reserve. Would definitely recommend charging it first right out of the box however, rather then only rely on solar charge. Decent product and loving it so far.

Sometimes it’s just meant to be! I bought one of these a couple of weeks back as a ‘just in case I need it’ purchase and never really felt I would. But to cut to the chase I was walking one of my favorite trails, Carpenter Peak Hike in Roxborough State Park early this month and slipped very, very badly and fell injuring my leg.I needed to call for help but had forgotten to charge my cell, and as it was pretty late in the day there was nobody around me. Luckily I had my Power Bank with me and was able to power up my cell and make an emergency call. Not sure what would have happened if I hadn’t had it available but thankfully all was well. Going to absolutely make sure this handy little item ALWAYS goes with me out on the trails!

Great idea, great product and really well designed. It’s now an integral part of my fishing trip packing. Nice one 🙂

Great product. Used it twice in the last 6 weeks on my own cell and also a friends cell. Both times worked perfectly and charged the cells up with no problem. Definitely an item that I always take with me in the car or in a pack when I’m out on my bike.

Love the idea of this and as I go hiking every weekend in some pretty remote areas it’s now part of my contingency kit in case of emergencies. What I like about this compared with other models is that having tested it, it does seem to retain enough charge to juice up a cellphone from flat battery to decent charge, so something I feel I can rely on

Great product and gives me extra confidence on some of my longer bike rides that I’m not gonna be stuck without a usable cellphone

I had to laugh when a friend of mine who thought this was a complete waste of money was trekking with me last week and confessed that he’d forgotten to charge his cellphone. Maybe I was a little victorious when I let him use my Power Bank but it worked well like it always does and now he’s just put in an order with you also. Well worth keeping in your backpack.

This is a nice, neat and inexpensive bit of ‘pocket reassurance’ to take out and about with you. Used mine twice over longer excursions this summer and once last week on a friends cell and every time it works perfectly. One of my best buys this year.

Easily as good as more expensive versions and really do what they say in terms of charging up cells when you need it! Always have it with me in my pack now.

Nice product. Charged mine up before first usage just as advised and it had no problem powering up a depleted cellphone. Definitely worth having in case of emergencies.

Just what I need to have out and about with me in case of emergencies. Looks real good out of the box and it worked well after a test charge so am confident it wil be great when needed.

Like it – does need charging up before you use it the first time. So important to remember that, but has worked perfectly the couple of times I’ve needed it.
