Specially designed for the outdoors person and perfect for camping, hiking, trekking and hunting. And of course it also goes without saying our drinking straw will be invaluable in survival or emergency situations.

The advanced filter mechanism contains no chemicals or resins and there are no actual moving parts that can wear out and interfere with the filters smooth functioning

Our filter has been designed to remove 99.9% of waterborne bacteria (>LOG 6 reduction) and 99.9% of waterborne parasitic protozoa (>LOG 3 reduction) which means that the combination of advanced filtration technology coupled with its high flow rate allows you to drink directly from streams or from water that you might first capture in a water bottle.

And not only can you drink the water immediately you’ve filtered it, but our filter  screens out the unpleasant tastes that often occur with stagnant or non pure water sources.

So you won’t experience any unpleasant tastes or or odors

Tested this out during some hikes along different trails back home in Oregon and used the filter in lake, river and rock pool water without any ill effects at all – and just like the description says you don’t get the normal taste that you might get from these sources, particularly the rock pool water. If anything what i was drinking through the filter tasted more like bottled water then anything else. One trick I’d recommend is rather then stoop down and drink from the water directly, I found it more comfortable and easier to just collect the water in my spare flask and THEN use the filter to drink from the flask. That way I wasn’t having to bend down at all. Good product and would certainly recommend it.

Great product, really compact and lightweight. My two sons and I had a ‘back to nature’ weekend a couple of weeks back where as best as we could we were catching and preparing our own food and I wanted to give them a sense of not taking anything for granted. So instead of bottled water we drank from the nearby river and from our own individual filters. water tasted great and no ill effects so can only presume this works well! This is a must pack item for any future treks we go on.

Arrived really promptly and it looks really great. Definitely compact and would easily fit in a coat pocket or backpack. Not used it yet but will be doing that this weekend when my boyfriend and me go on a three day biking and trail busting break.

Just bought three of these for my kids who are all Venture Scouts. They’ve not used them yet but it won’t be long …

Nice, lightweight and compact and ideal for the longer bike rides in some of the places I go to.

Tested this with my wife a few weeks back when we were overnight fishing and found that the lake water we decided to sample tasted similar to bottled water, with no funny tastes that would usually happen if you just dipped a flask in the lake. Good product to have with you in case of emergencies

Got to be honest -not used this just yet, but purchased it on the back of the description. can’t give it 5 stars until tested it in action, but it looks like it’ll do a real good job

Tried this out a few weeks back and it works just fine. Good to have for emergencies.

Happy to include this in my kit – it came highly recommended by a good buddy of mine who’s in to long hikes and trekking and took himself of on some really long trails during the summer and used this same drinking straw a couple of times. The one thing he did mention is it scores highly on reliability and build , but is a little narrow, so it does take a bit of effort to get water up the straw

Looks good and it’s obviously intended to be used like the Lifestraw. I actually like this better however as when I ran a check using it on some drinking water that I’d put some contaminants in back home I couldn’t see anything that was contaminating the water after I’d used the straw as a filter, whlie at times I think the Lifestraw can let some particles through. So thumbs up from me.

This really works! tried it out on a weekend camp with some water that I wouldn’t normally touch. While my friends thought I was crazy I wanted to test it and it worked just fine with no ill effects. Will definitely carry one with me on my treks in the New Year.

Arrived promptly and well packaged. I’ve had a couple of life straws before but they have been used to the point of needing to be replaced so I thought I’d give your brand a go. Having tested it out last week I have to say the comparison seems pretty good so far and it’s nice to find another supplier provide such a good quality item

Not tested yet but look pretty good when I took a look after receiving them. I’m an active hillwalker and have some camping trips planned later this month, so a ful review after that

Bought a couple of these and tested one on some really bad water out on a trek a few weekends back. Pleased to say that the taste and results were good with no nasty residue or after taste (and I wasn’t sick after which is always good!). Definitely one for the backpack.

Read some reviews of this and decided to get a couple of my own. I’m an all year round camper and fisherman so had the chance to test one of these out. Drinking through it the water tasted clean with no residue and there was no nasty aftertaste so pretty impressed with the results so far.
